Wisdom (วิชด้อม; formerly known as Wishdom) is a five-member girl group under Wisdom Entertainment. Originally as fourteen, they debuted on November 16, 2019 with the digital single "Be Wise".
History[]
Pre-debut[]
In July 2019, Wishdom revealed the seventeen trainees, also known as 'Wishgirls', that would form the first class.[1] However, several of these trainees left the group shortly after being revealed.
2019[]
The group officially debuted with thirteen members on November 16, 2019 with the digital single "Be Wise".
Auditions were opened on December 28 for new trainees to join the Wishgirls.[2]
2020[]
On March 30, it was announced that twelve of the first class members had graduated from the group, and that the remaining first class member would be added to a second class with eight new trainees. Additional trainees were announced to be joining the group throughout October and November, however they weren't added to a specific class.
Auditions were once again opened for new Wishgirls trainees on October 30.[3]
On November 29, five members from the second class announced their graduation. Their last stage appearance was at Idol Exchange on December 5.
On December 24, it was announced that the group had changed their name to "Wisdom".
2021[]
On January 18, four new trainees had been announced as members of a third class.[4] Three additional third class members were later announced between February and April.
Two of the third class members announced their graduation on June 3 via their personal SNS. Official statements were later posted on June 7 and June 15, including the announcement of another third class member's graduation.
From September 17 to Septemper 24, ten new trainees were announced to be joining the group. A final trainee was announced on October 21. Several trainees left shortly after joining the group, resulting in a nine-member line-up for the trainee unit "WISDOM Sisters".
2022[]
On February 22, a statement announcing Mook's graduation was posted.[5] Her last stage with the group was on March 6 at Idol Exchange.
The graduations of Chermild, Jingjung, and Meimei were all announced on April 6 via their personal SNS.[6][7][8]
On September 9, nine new trainees were revealed.[9]
2023: Graduation of Ize[]
On March 20, it was announced that Ize had graduated from the group on March 1, 2023.[10]
