The Parkinson is a three-member male band under SpicyDisc. Originally as three, they debuted on November 3, 2014 with the digital single "Tell Her That I love".
History[]
Pre-debut[]
The Parkinson evolved from a group of trio playing jazz and soul, initially had no brand's name, led by Karn as a primary guitarist and vocalist, To a bassist, To's friend a drummer, and later left for England. Karn later invited Bia, his college friend and a former drummer of Bangkok Soul, to join them.[1] The core trio have been together since then.
Defining themselves as freelance musicians, they initially had no intention of becoming artists, so they denied any offers. Around 2011, once played at a jazz bar called Brown Sugar as a substitute for its regular band[2], they got solicited by Pichai Chirathivat, the founder of SpicyDisc, one of their favourite music labels. They were hesitate at first but finally decided to sign the contract.[3][4]

On January 30, SpicyDisc released a statement announcing that Ta had left the group due to personal reasons.[5]
