History[]

Pre-debut[]

On December 7, 2019, a new sub-unit of BNK48 was announced in collaboration with Universal Music Group. The six members who had been chosen to join the sub-unit were also revealed.[2]

It was originally planned that the six members would travel to Los Angeles, USA in April 2020 to train as part of the project "BNK48 S.I.S 30 Days in LA".[3] However, this plan was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On August 7, 2020, the first episode of the group's reality show LYRALITY SHOW aired, which gave fans an insight into the group's training leading up to their debut.
