Phutatchai (ภูธัชชัย) is a Thai singer under SONRAY MUSIC. He is a member of the boy group BUS and its sub-unit BUS5, and a former member of the co-ed project group POP IDOL.
He was a contestant on the reality survival show 789 SURVIVAL.
Early life[]
Pooh began playing sports around the age of 7-8. He used to play at the ice skating rink and look at elders playing ice hockey together. As it was a sport that he had never been seen before, he wanted to try and play as well. He started playing ice hockey more seriously at the age of 12 and was coached by former Thai national team player Beer. He later also joined the youth Thai national ice hockey team.[1]
He began taking singing lesssons at the age of 14, because he wanted to do something in his semester break.[1]
Career[]
2019: POP IDOL[]
On February 13, he was revealed to be a member of the co-ed project group POP IDOL.[2] He debuted in the group on February 24 with the digital single "อยากให้เป็นเธอ".
The group presumably disbanded somewhere mid 2019, as the last update about the group was made in June.
2022-present: 789 SURVIVAL, BUS, BUS5[]
On August 17, 2022, he was teased and later revealed as a contestant on 789 SURVIVAL.[3][4] During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 4th overall, thus making him a member of the final group. He debuted in the group, named BUS, on December 6, 2023 with the digital single "Because of You, I Shine".
On April 28, 2024, it was confirmed that Phutatchai would be a member of the group's sub-unit BUS5.
