Moopear (Thai: หมูแพร; Japanese: ムーペァー) is a Thai singer. She is a former member of the girl groups Sora! Sora! and 2U.
Career[]
2020: 2U[]
On September 29, she was introduced as a new member of the girl group 2U.[1] On December 3, the group announced that they would officially disband on December 7.
2021-2022: Sora! Sora![]
On November 17, 2021, she was introduced as a member of the new girl group Sora! Sora!.[2] She debuted in the group on November 23 with the single album "Misoushin no Omoi".
On May 31, 2022, Sora! Sora! announced that Moopear would be on hiatus from June 3 until September, as she's participating in a work and travel exchange to the United States.[3] On November 7, the group released a statement announcing that she would continue focusing on her education and decided to graduate; Her last event was held on November 13.[4]
Trivia[]
- There were multiple people in her highschool named Pear, and to keep them apart they gave her the nickname 'Moopear', because of her eating a lot; The literal translation of Moopear being 'Pig Pear'.[2]
