Meri (Thai: เมริ; Japanese: めり) is a Japanese singer. She is a former member of the girl group IKINARI TELL ME, and the Japanese groups JYA☆PON, HEROINES's sub-group Ponkotsu Konpo, and Akumade Tenshi.
Career[]
2023-2024: IKINARI TELL ME[]
On May 31, 2023, she was confirmed as a member of the girl group IKINARI TELL ME.[1] She debuted in the group on August 25, 2023 with the digital single "Hanikami TomYumKung".
On December 21, 2024, IKINARI TELL ME released a statement announcing that Meri had been removed from the group due to 'nightlife entertainment venues', which is against the company's policy.[2] Later that same day, Meri herself released a statement saying that the announcement by the company was false; According to her, for her graduation announcement she had to pay a large amount of money to graduated from the group, even though she had never officially signed with the company based in Thailand.[3][4]
