Hikaru

Hikaru (Thai: โคชิน; Japanese: 光) is a Japanese-Iranian singer under DREAM BOY. He is a member of the Japanese boy group Maison B, and a former member of the Japanese boy group G=AGE.

He is best known for being a contestant on the Japanese survival show Produce 101 Japan Season 2 and Thai-Chinese survival show Chuang Asia 2.

Career[]

2016: G=AGE[]

Shortly after leaving Johnny's Entertainment in 2016 alongside Tajima Shogo, the two of them both became members of G=AGE where he used the name VASA.

At the end of 2016, it was announced that the group had disbanded.

2021: Produce 101 Japan Season 2[]

In 2021, Hikaru participated in the GyaO! reality show Produce 101 Japan Season 2 with his full name Vasayegh Hikaru. Unfortunately, he was was eliminated in the eleventh episode with his final rank being 33rd.[1]

2023-2024: Maison B[]

On February 15, 2023, Hikaru debuted in the hip hop group Maison B under the label DREAM BOY.

On November 4, 2024, it was announced that the group would suspend their activities indefinitely on November 30, and each member would focus on their individual careers afterwards.

2024-present: Chuang Asia 2[]

On December 31, 2024, Hikaru was confirmed as a contestant on the reality survival show Chuang Asia 2 during Thai shopping mall Icon Siam's Amazing Thailand Countdown 2025.[2]
