"First Love" (ต้องชอบแค่ไหน; stylized in all caps) is the first special single by Pretzelle. It was released on February 8, 2023.
The single was released physically three months later on June 11 for a limited amount of time.[1]
Background[]
On January 29, 2021, Pretzelle announced their first-ever comeback with their first special single, set to be released on February 8[2]; The title was later confirmed to be "First Love" on January 31.[3]
On May 21, it was revealed that the single would have a limited release CD press. The physical version would also include the acoustic version of the song and both its instrumentals.[1]
Composition[]
"First Love" is described as an easy listening T-Pop song with Pretzelle's signature enchanting vocals, and a playful swing jazz tone for added dimension to the song. "First Love" talks about the emotion going through someone when they are in love for the first time.[4]
Reception[]
On February 14, 2021, "First Love" passed its first milestone of 1 million views, 6 days after its release.[5] The music video later hit 5 million views on May 12, three months after its release.[6] This was later revealed to have been doubled on October 12, with the music video passing 10 million views.[7] One year later on September 9, the music video officially hit 20 million views.[8]

On May 21, 2021, the limited edition photo set was made available for pre-order.[1] On July 23, 2021, more merchandise (2 versions of t-shirts, a keychain and 2 versions of masks) were available for pre-order.[9]
