DAISY DAISY (Thai: เดซี่ เดซี่; Japanese: デイジーデイジー) was a five-member girl group. Originally as eleven, they debuted on August 2, 2019 with the self-titled digital single "Daisy Daisy".
The group officially disbanded on February 16, 2023, after the expiration of their contracts.[1]
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On May 22, 2019, the group's official social media accounts were opened.[2] On May 26, a teaser was uploaded to Facebook, announcing that a 'new journey would begin'.[3]
On June 4, 2019, DAISY DAISY was revealed with six members at Idol Expo, as well as an announcement that the group had opened auditions for more members.[4] On June 20, Lisa, Olive, Kita, Kookkik and Wawa were revealed to have joined the group through the auditions.[5]
2019: Debut with "Daisy Daisy"[]
On August 11, a teaser for the group's debut single was uploaded.[6] The group officially debuted on August 16 with the self-titled digital single "Daisy Daisy".[7]
On June 3, DAISY DAISY released a statement saying that Kookkik would graduate from the group due to work and travel reasons. Her last event as a member was Digital your life 2022 on June 12.[8]
2022-2023: WYNN Entertainment[]
On September 1, 2022, WYNN Entertainment revealed their artists for their upcoming grand opening, which also included DAISY DAISY.[9]
On February 13, 2023, WYNN Entertainment announced that the members would be leaving the agency as their contracts would expire on February 16, 2023.[1]
