Celeste (เซเลสท์) was a nine-member girl group under VCM Entertainment. They debuted on February 11, 2022 with the digital single "Skip a Beat".
The group officially disbanded on April 11, 2023.[1]
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On April 26, 2021, the nine winners of Idol Paradise who would debut in the show's product group were announced.[2]
2022: Debut with "Skip a Beat"[]
On January 13, VCM Entertainment uploaded a teaser for the group's reveal.[3] On January 14, the group name and a motion video of their logo was released, along with Idol Paradise changing their social media names to Celeste.[4]
On February 2, Celeste's debut single was announced along with its release date.[5] After multiple member image teasers, the MV teaser for the group's debut single was uploaded on February 9.[6] The group officially debuted on February 11 with the digital single "Skip a Beat".[7]
2023: Disbandment[]
On April 11, VCM Entertainment announced that the group had disbanded.[1]
