BUS (Thai: บัส; Japanese: バス; Korean: 버스) is a twelve-member boy group under SONRAY MUSIC. Formed through the reality survival show 789 SURVIVAL, they debuted on December 6, 2023 with the digital single "Because of You, I Shine".
Their group name stands for 'Because of yoU I Shine'.
In August 15, 2022, 789 AUDITION opened their official SNS accounts and announced that they were opening auditions for any males born between 2001 and 2009 to finalize their trainee line-up, which already consisted of 14 trainees; All final 24 trainees would compete as 789 SURVIVAL to secure their place in the debut line-up. The show premiered on May 26, 2023, and the live finale was broadcast on August 11, 2023, with the winners becoming a boy group; The original group line-up was revealed to be made up of either 7, 8 or 9 trainees, but in the finale it was revealed that all left over 12 trainees would be in the debut group.[2] The group's debut lineup consisted of fan choices Marc, Copper and Aa, trainee choices Phutatchai, Khunpol, Heart, Peemwasu, Alan and Nex, and the show producers choices Thai, Jung and Jinwook.
On November 1, 2023, SONRAY MUSIC released a teaser through their social media accounts that the group's official name would be revealed on the 8th, and that they would hold their debut showcase on December 6.[3]
On November 8, 2023, their group name was revealed as 'BUS'.[4] Six days later on November 14, it was announced that the group would be making their debut on December 6.[5]

On March 3, the group's fandom name was announced to be "BEUS (บีอัส)" which stands for 'Be With Bus'.[1]
On April 27, SONRAY MUSIC announced that BUS would be debuting two sub-units named BUS5 and BUS7; BUS5 would be set to make their debut on May 1, and BUS7 on June 5.[6]
