ATLAS (Thai: แอทลาส; Japanese: アトラス) is a seven-member boy group under XOXO Entertainment. They debuted on December 7, 2021 with the digital single "Mayday Mayday".
Their name stands for the Titan god who carries the world, and the map which symbolises the 7 members who are like 'world and star explorers'; taking everyone on a journey to explore the vast universe together, like ALIS who are ready to spread their wings to explore new territories with them.[1]
History[]
Pre-debut[]
In 2021, all members were trainees under 4NOLOGUE, as well as starring in the company's special single "Yesterday Today Tomorrow", featuring TRINITY and other 4NOLOGUE trainees.[2] They all left the company somewhere mid to late 2021.
On August 31, 2021, the group's official social media accounts were opened.[3] On September 3, 2021, the group was officially revealed across all social media platforms with a motion video of their logo, along with the members' names and social media accounts.[4]
2021: Debut with "Mayday Mayday"[]
On November 6, it was announced that the group would make their debut on December 7.[5]
On December 4, a teaser for the group's debut single was uploaded.[6] They officially debuted on December 7 with the digital single "Mayday Mayday".[7] They made their stage debut on the same day at their debut showcase, with 4EVE as their guest.[8] They also announced that their fandom will officially be known as ALIS.[9]
2022: Lolay[]
On March 10, ATLAS updated their profile image across their social media, announcing their comeback.[10] The release plan was uploaded four days later, on March 14.[11]
